Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Leader to join our team at our Stead House Distribution Centre in Darlington. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the PM shift, ensuring team members are coached and developed to hit their performance targets, and providing first-line support to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate the PM shift in a busy Savers Distribution Centre, working closely with the Shift Manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Performance Management: Coach and develop team members to achieve their performance targets, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Operational Management: Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and review report data to ensure the smooth operation of the distribution centre.
  • Support and Guidance: Provide first-line support to your team, addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
  • Health and Safety: Manage the day-to-day health and safety obligations in a busy warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensure the timely delivery of goods to stores, managing the CSLs (Customer Service Levels) to meet customer expectations.
