Job Summary:
CastleView Group is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Storing Goods: Receive and store goods inwards following Amazon's internal processes and procedures, utilizing radio frequency scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack and ship customer orders to meet high customer expectations.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick products from inventory, potentially on a multi-level mezzanine or using a high-level picker.
Physical Demands:
- Standing and Walking: Stand and/or walk during the duration of a shift, with standard full-time shifts being 10 hours excluding overtime, flex, and part-time shifts may vary.
- Lifting and Moving: Lift and move products up to 23kg in weight.
- Manual Dexterity: Utilize manual dexterity of both hands and wrists to perform tasks.
- Mezzanine Work: Work on a secure mezzanine at a height of between 9 to 12 metres, equivalent to a 3 or 4-storey building.
- Stair Climbing: Regularly climb and descend flights of stairs safely.
Compensation and Benefits:
CastleView Group offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.30 for daytime shifts and £14.27 for other shifts.
