Hospitality Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, as well as managing the finances for our school's kitchen. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the food and level of service are of the highest quality, making our school catering one of the best in the region.
Your attitude and leadership skills will have a significant impact on your team's daily lives, as they will look to you for direction and support. This will foster a vibrant and productive work environment, where everyone can thrive.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be responsible for managing the replenishment of food and the dismantling of work areas at the end of service. You will develop, mentor, and conduct training for the kitchen team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
You will also be responsible for controlling the complete catering operation, including labor, food, and stock expenses. This will involve managing and optimizing all costs that are under your control, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Another key aspect of this role will be ensuring uniformity in the food and service standards provided to fellow staff members, visitors, and students. You will manage the creation and development of menus, conducting routine audits to ensure that standards are being followed.
We are looking for someone with expertise in cooking on a large scale, preferably in a similar setting. You should have experience following recipes, supervising staff, and working with fresh produce and ingredients. You should also be aware of the importance of adhering to health and safety procedures.
