We are collaborating with a reputable organization in the housing sector, seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to focus on employee engagement and relations. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary of up to £47,000 per annum and the flexibility to work from home for up to 3 days each week.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing expert coaching and support to management in addressing various employee relations matters, ensuring adherence to fairness, consistency, and legal standards, particularly in complex cases.
- Leading initiatives related to change management and organizational development.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert, applying extensive knowledge to evaluate risks and inform strategic decisions.
- Enhancing the understanding of employee relations through knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Building strong relationships with management to encourage proactive communication regarding employee issues.
- Identifying and addressing business challenges, requiring excellent communication skills and a commitment to relationship-building.
- Gathering feedback to enhance HR services and improve employee experiences.
- Supporting workforce planning, including succession planning and talent development, in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience managing a wide range of complex employee relations cases, with a proven track record as a subject matter expert.
- Proficiency in HR systems and established processes.
- A solid foundation in general HR practices, including administration and comprehensive HR processes.
- Experience in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels to achieve favorable outcomes.
- A customer-centric approach to HR partnering, delivering both operational and strategic support.
- A history of collaborating to implement innovative HR solutions that align with business objectives in a dynamic environment.
- A minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification.
