Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Partner to join our team at The Boots Company PLC. As an Early Careers Recruitment Partner, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and retaining talented students into our Optometry department.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract until September 2025, based at our Nottingham Support Office. You will report directly to the Recruitment Manager for Healthcare and work closely with key stakeholders, including Store Leaders, Area Managers, and HR Partners, to understand current and future resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement recruitment plans to source top talent for our business, working in partnership with key stakeholders to understand current and future resource requirements.
  2. Establish and maintain partnerships with universities to connect with Optometry students and develop our brand in the student world.
  3. Ensure robust talent pipelines that meet the future business strategy, using your expertise of the market for talent to shape and work with the recruitment marketing team.
  4. Act as a brand ambassador across all social media channels, maintaining a customer-led approach in all recruitment activity to ensure an exceptional experience for all candidates.
  5. Provide regular market insights via research, events, and networking to keep the recruitment team and hiring managers informed on economic trends, new technology, and competitor analysis.

Requirements

  1. Proven knowledge of recruitment attraction strategies, including social media and campaign management.
  2. Experience in an in-house or agency recruitment team delivering full life-cycle recruitment.
  3. Understanding of the student world and graduate recruitment would be advantageous.
  4. Experience in the use of social media in recruitment.
  5. Customer-centric approach in all recruitment activity.
