Early Careers Recruitment Role at Boots Opticians

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our team as an Early Careers Recruiter. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a pivotal role in attracting and retaining talented students into Boots Opticians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Recruitment Planning: Work in partnership with key stakeholders to understand demand for current and future resource requirements and create recruitment plans to source great people for the business.
  • University Partnerships: Establish partnerships with universities to connect with Optometry students and develop our brand in the student world.
  • Talent Pipelining: Ensure robust talent pipelines that will satisfy the future business strategy by using your expertise of the market for talent to shape and work with the recruitment marketing team to generate and deliver relevant attraction campaigns.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement where essential projects are highlighted and delivered to the highest standard to enhance the recruitment process and candidate journey.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as a brand ambassador across all social media channels.
  • Market Insights: Provide regular market insights via research, events, and networking to ensure the recruitment team and hiring managers are up to date on economic trends, new technology, and competitor analysis.
  • Candidate Experience: Take a customer-led approach in all recruitment activity, ensuring that as a business we give an exceptional experience to all of our candidates at each stage of the recruitment process.

Requirements:

  • Recruitment Attraction Strategies: Knowledge of recruitment attraction strategies, including social media and campaign management, and experience of using these techniques to deliver great talent pipeline strategies.
  • Recruitment Experience: Experience in a in-house or agency recruitment team delivering full life-cycle recruitment across a variety of disciplines.
  • Student World Understanding: Understanding of the student world and graduate recruitment would be advantageous.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work in partnership with hiring managers and stakeholders to develop and build strong working relationships.
  • Interviewing and Selection: Experience of interviewing and selection design.
  • Social Media: Experience in the use of social media in recruitment and an awareness of the benefits that the digital world brings in terms of recruitment.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Customer-centric approach in all recruitment activity.
