Our client, a prominent and well-respected membership organization with a diverse membership base both in the UK and internationally, is seeking a dedicated Membership Officer.

Role Overview

The Membership Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the membership through enhanced recruitment, retention, and reinstatement efforts. This position is also responsible for increasing the number of members who are professionally registered with the governing body.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating streamlined application processes and ensuring timely delivery of welcome materials to new members.
  • Managing and addressing incoming inquiries from current and prospective members, as well as the general public, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Overseeing the membership email inbox to guarantee accurate record-keeping and comprehensive information dissemination.
  • Providing administrative support for membership recruitment campaigns and assisting staff who are frequently engaged in field activities.
  • Coordinating the quarterly renewals process, ensuring successful execution within the CRM system and timely distribution of renewal invitations to members.
  • Processing membership payments through the designated payment platform and generating necessary links as required.
  • Utilizing the CRM system to generate reports that support essential membership functions.
  • Issuing invoices and receipts for incoming payments and outstanding invoices as needed.
