Job Summary

EMpower—The Emerging Markets Foundation is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our programmatic work as Vice President, Program Management and Innovation. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of international youth development, program strategy, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program strategies that align with EMpower's mission and goals
  • Lead a global team of program professionals to design, implement, and evaluate programs that promote youth development and empowerment
  • Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, foundations, and other stakeholders to leverage resources and expertise
  • Manage program budgets, finances, and reporting to ensure effective use of resources
  • Contribute to the development of EMpower's overall strategy and vision, and provide input on programmatic priorities and policies
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in international youth development or gender-focused philanthropy, with at least 8 years in a senior management role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful program strategies and managing global teams
  • Strong understanding of program planning, budgeting, and financial management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in one or more languages of EMpower's implementing countries
