About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Pharmacist to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Pharmacist in Learning Disabilities and Mental Health, you will play a critical role in providing clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services to ensure patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to support the safe and effective use of medicines in adult acute, older persons mental health, and dementia services.
  • Work closely with pharmacy staff, healthcare professionals, and managers across the wider healthcare economy to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Provide written and verbal information on drug usage, as well as carry out Medicines Information queries and provide specialist advice.
