About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team as a Clinical Lead for our Psychological Wellbeing Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and guidance to our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership
    • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners
    • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with NICE guidelines and service standards
  • Service Development
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement plans
    • Collaborate with the PWP Team Lead to identify areas for service development
    • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
  • Staff Management and Training
    • Provide clinical supervision and training to Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners
    • Support the development of staff skills and knowledge
    • Ensure compliance with service policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Post Graduate/Graduate Certificate in Psychological Wellbeing Practice (Low intensity)
  • Substantial experience of working with people in a mental health primary care setting
  • Ability to demonstrate a range of post-qualifying experiences in offering and delivering the range of evidence-based IAPT low intensity interventions
  • Good understanding of models of assessment, screening, referral, record-keeping and evidence-based brief psychological intervention
