About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Synlab. As a key member of our HR and Payroll department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping.
  • Payroll Operations: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including liaison with HR Advisors and payroll systems.
  • Pension Administration: Administer pensions for existing members and scheme leavers in accordance with NHS and company Pension Scheme regulations.
  • Pay Queries: Address pay queries, including sick pay entitlement, unpaid leave, and casuals.
  • Payroll Analysis: Identify and rectify causes of inaccurate pay, working with HR Advisors and line managers.
  • Reporting: Collaborate with the HR team to develop effective payroll reports.
Requirements
  • Education: GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) with excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • IT Skills: Proven IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent numerical ability and communication skills.
