Crown Medical Practice is a well-established and respected healthcare provider in Tamworth, serving a patient population of nearly 9,000 individuals. We operate two convenient locations: our main surgery at Tamworth Health Centre and a branch surgery at Stonydelph Health Centre. Our practice is committed to delivering high-quality care and consistently achieves excellent ratings in the National Patient Survey.

Our Team

We are a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including two GP partners, two salaried GPs, advanced clinical practitioners (ACPs) and nurse practitioners (ANPs), a specialist paramedic practitioner, a clinical pharmacist, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff. Our collaborative environment fosters professional growth and development through training and mentorship opportunities.

The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our team on a salaried basis, with the potential for partnership in the future. This role offers 4-6 sessions per week and is ideal for both newly qualified GPs and experienced practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical consultations to patients via telephone, video conferencing, or face-to-face appointments.
  • Conduct thorough patient histories, examinations, and investigations, including diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments, referring patients as necessary.
  • Work autonomously while adhering to the General Medical Services (GMS) contract and maintaining compliance with the General Medical Council (GMC) standards for good medical practice.
  • Contribute to the effective management of the practice and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
