Position Overview
Tri-Links Medical Practice is a reputable healthcare provider looking for a dedicated and passionate General Practitioner to join our clinical team for 3-4 sessions weekly.
The successful candidate will operate as an independent practitioner, accountable for delivering medical services to our patient population. The role involves providing high-quality clinical care while adhering to the GMS contract and following GMC standards for exemplary medical practice. The candidate will also contribute to the effective management of the practice and foster a positive, collaborative relationship with the multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a well-organized and proactive GP to enhance our busy team, with potential future partnership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver medical services to our patient population in accordance with the GMS contract.
- Manage long-term health conditions effectively.
- Offer clinical guidance and support to fellow clinical staff and address inquiries from administrative teams.
- Handle administrative tasks promptly, including referrals, repeat prescription requests, and other related duties.
- Engage in clinical audits within the practice.
- Maintain precise clinical records in line with best practices, policies, and guidelines.
- Conduct home visits as necessary.
- Fulfill all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP within a primary care team.
About Our Practice
Tri-Links Medical Practice currently serves a patient list of 7020 and operates across two sites. We are a well-established training practice, supporting GP registrars, Foundation Doctors, and medical students.
Our team consists of 1 GP Partner, 3 salaried GPs, 1 Advanced Nurse Practitioner, a Clinical Pharmacist, 2 Practice Nurses, and a supportive Management and Administrative team. We also have access to a social prescriber through our Primary Care Network.
Our overall CQC rating is good.
Job Responsibilities
The role involves providing consultations through our triage system, both face-to-face and via telephone. Responsibilities include taking patient histories, conducting examinations, and performing investigations, including diagnostic tests. The GP will treat patients and prescribe appropriate medications, as well as refer patients or provide advice as needed. The candidate will work as an independent practitioner, responsible for delivering medical services to the practice population while ensuring compliance with the GMS contract.
