Laurel House Surgery is seeking a highly skilled Salaried General Practitioner to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our primary care team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our practice.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide general medical services managing a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.

  • Conduct consultations, take histories, examination, investigations, and diagnose patients. Treat patients and prescribe appropriate medication, referring patients or providing advice, as appropriate.

  • Manage long-term conditions and provide clinical advice and support to other clinical staff and respond to queries from the administrative teams.

  • Attend and participate in regular practice and multidisciplinary meetings.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS England performers list.

  • Recent experience of working in general practice in the UK, with a commitment to and experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary and skill-mixed team environment.

  • Experience of working to achieve standards within the Quality and Outcome Framework (QOF).
