About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and inspirational Learning Support Practitioner to join our dynamic Learning Support department at South Staffordshire College.

As a Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in planning, developing, and monitoring strategies for learners who require additional support to achieve their career and learning goals.

You will work closely with teachers to deliver inclusive lessons for individuals with additional support needs, providing advice and guidance to ensure that all learners have an equal opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for learners with specific needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to deliver inclusive lessons and provide additional support as needed
  • Provide advice and guidance to teachers on supporting learners with additional support needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support strategies and make recommendations for improvement
