Reception Duties:

  • Deliver a high-quality reception service to all patients and visitors.
  • Handle general inquiries, clarify procedures, and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Utilize sound judgment to prioritize patients requiring urgent consultations.
  • Inform new patients about practice protocols and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring accurate message delivery.
  • Communicate relevant charges for private services, process payments, and issue receipts.
  • Input patient data into the practice management system as needed.
  • Prepare and serve refreshments, maintain cleanliness in communal areas, and ensure the waiting area is tidy.
