Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.
About the Role:This is a rewarding opportunity to work with individuals who require complex care and support. You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, medication administration, and other clinical needs. Our service users require a high level of care and support, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Administer medication as required
- Provide support with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and mobility
- Monitor and assist with night-time routines, including personal hygiene and mobility
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users
- 3 months' previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
- Ventilation Management
- PEG Feeding
- Cough Assist
We offer flexible working hours to suit your needs, including part-time days and nights. You will be required to work a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week, with alternate weekends.
Pay Rates:We offer competitive pay rates, including:
- Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
- Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
- Bank Holidays: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168.00 per 12-hour shift)
