Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role:

This is a rewarding opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, moving and handling, meal preparation, and attending to clinical care needs. You will also be required to monitor and assist with night-time routines, ensuring a comfortable and safe sleeping environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Monitor and assist with night-time routines, including personal hygiene and mobility
  • Attend to clinical care needs, including medication administration and wound care
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
Requirements:
  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG Feeding
  • Cough Assist
Working Hours:
