About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our service users, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Support with medication administration and clinical care needs
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Monitor and assist with night-time routines, including personal hygiene and mobility
Requirements
  • 3 months' previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Spinal Muscular Atrophy
  • Ventilation Management
  • PEG Feeding
  • Cough Assist
Working Hours

Part Time Days and Nights, 2-3 shifts per week, 8am - 8pm, 8pm – 8am. Alternate weekends are needed for this position.

Pay Rates

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168.00 per 12-hour shift)
