We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Salaried General Practitioner to enhance our dynamic team. This role involves providing 6-8 sessions per week in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Our practice is composed of a diverse group of healthcare professionals, including Partners, Salaried GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associates, Paramedics, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, and Phlebotomists. We prioritize teamwork and the delivery of high-quality patient care while promoting a healthy work-life balance.

As a training practice, we also support the development of STs and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Main Responsibilities

As a Salaried GP, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing comprehensive general medical services.
  • Conducting patient consultations, including history taking and examinations.
  • Prescribing appropriate treatments and medications.
  • Managing long-term health conditions.
  • Documenting consultations accurately in our clinical system.
  • Offering support and guidance to colleagues and administrative staff.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to care plan development.
  • Engaging in clinical audits and protocol development.
  • Conducting home visits as necessary.
  • Reviewing patient correspondence and taking appropriate action.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Committing to continuous professional development and best practices.
  • Participating in local learning events.
  • Collaborating with healthcare organizations for community development.

Qualifications
  • Fully qualified GP with GMC registration.
  • Inclusion on the NHS England performers list.
  • Recent experience in UK general practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in achieving QOF standards.
  • Evidence of independent practice.
  • Experience in service improvement initiatives.
  • Teaching experience with medical and nursing students.
  • Participation in clinical audits.
