We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team at Waters Corporation. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will serve as a trusted Business Partner to our business management team, providing expert financial guidance and support to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement European GAAP Accounting Center of Excellence
  • Lead selected accounting and month-end close activities for all or a group of entities in Europe
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless and timely information flow in both directions
  • Drive harmonization of European Accounting Processes
  • Drive efficient GAAP to STAT process for Europe

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or Business Studies or equivalent; additional Accounting or Tax qualification would be advantageous
  • Professional experience in a BIG 10 Audit Firm or equivalent role
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting rules, demonstrated both in theory and practice
  • International and diverse environment experience
  • Work experience in matrix organization with internal controls
  • MS Office Package, excellent Excel skills
  • SAP and Blackline experience would be advantageous
