About the Role

We're seeking a talented Commercial Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at M&S. As a key member of our ecommerce operation, you'll play a crucial role in driving business outcomes and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Online Commercial Manager in achieving the online budget through daily/weekly/monthly trading processes and key online commercial levers.
  • Build department strategy to influence merchandising and buying teams, using insights to make recommendations for the online range.
  • Develop channel stock allocation principles and plans, focusing on size ratios that meet the needs of our online customers.
  • Own regular commercial reporting to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the online planning team to manage Castle Donington capacity, liaising with Central Planning, Logistics, and Demand.
What You'll Need
  • Strong understanding of trading, merchandising, and promotions.
  • Ability to analyse and report information, plan, and project manage.
  • Competitor and commercial awareness, with a proven ability to perform competitor analysis.
  • Agility in working with trading priorities and team challenges.
