Academic Lecturer

The Fire Safe Design March programme at UCL Eastman Dental Institute is seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as an Associate Lecturer. This is a fixed-term role until the latest 30th September, with the possibility of part-time, flexible, and job share arrangements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver teaching materials, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials, for the Design Study 1 + 2 Module.
- Demonstrate inclusive teaching practices and prepare assignments, organize marking, and supervise the return of marks to students.
- Act as a first point of contact for students, addressing absences, late submissions, extenuating circumstances, and special cases.
- General record keeping and management of late summer submissions.
- A higher degree in architecture and ARB accredited Part 3 qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of architectural professional, technical, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Significant experience working in a professional architectural practice context.
- Track record of high-level University teaching leading students to a recognized high standard of work.
