Reinsurance Client Service Specialist

Your new role as a Reinsurance Client Service Technician will involve working with a privately-owned Global Lloyd's Broker with offices based around the UK and Worldwide. The company has seen significant growth, with a headcount of 400 associates globally across 17 locations, and prides itself on an entrepreneurial culture that benefits its clients.
As a Reinsurance Client Service Technician, you will be responsible for a multi-disciplined technical processing role incorporating Broker Support, processing of Proportional and Non-Proportional accounts, Excess of Loss and Claims, and premium processing. You will deal with all classes of business, specifically International Property and Casualty, liaising with internal and external clients and carriers on a technical level.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing Reinsurance Premium and claims
- Debroking, risk sign down, and preparing and maintaining account statistics
- Negotiating claims from initial notice through to settlement and closure
- Participating in client and reinsurer meetings as required
Requirements for success include:
- Previous experience working as a Reinsurance Technician
- Competency in processing all risks types, proportional, excess of loss premiums and claims
- Understanding of management concepts, systems, and quality assurance
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and in-depth knowledge of IMR, CLASS, ECF, LORS, and ideally Salesforce and Open TWINS
