Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Information Systems Manager to oversee the deployment of project Information Management systems for significant energy transition, olefins, refinery, and petrochemical projects in both local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess client needs and establish a comprehensive digital strategy for projects and proposals, including budgeting and planning.
  • Assist the Project Manager in defining the digital scope within project execution plans.
  • Lead and manage Information Management, tool setup, and document control activities across projects.
  • Ensure effective implementation of digital services on projects, providing support through monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordinating project personnel.
  • Facilitate internal coordination among technical teams, procurement planning, and project management, while engaging with external stakeholders such as clients and vendors.
  • Guide and support project staff in digital execution.
  • Evaluate available digital tools within Technip Energies, select appropriate tools for implementation, and provide guidance on their use.
  • Analyze project and operational data, proposing and executing solutions for enhanced execution and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market tools and Technip Energies' digital service offerings.
  • Lead the introduction of new digital tools and methodologies, offering support both internally and externally.
  • Identify opportunities for digital services and assist in sales efforts during the tendering process.
  • Drive the implementation of new business opportunities leveraging digital technologies.
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison with all stakeholders regarding the digital scope.
  • Be prepared for travel within the UAE and internationally for meetings.
Typical Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven leadership experience with team and personnel management.
  • Direct experience in engineering project environments.
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Systems Management, Project Data Management, and Project Document Management is essential.
  • Strong understanding of data-centric execution methodologies.
  • Familiarity with systems and tools relevant to the design, construction, and operation of energy-related capital projects, including engineering design systems, data management systems, and project management systems.
  • Able to oversee the entire project execution workflow.
  • Capable of managing multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational skills and adeptness in stakeholder management.
  • Affinity for digital systems and tools, with a focus on their business implementation.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
