The Role

Huguenot Services is a business that has established an excellent reputation in the market and is now growing quickly, winning new clients and launching new product streams. As we grow, we are investing across all teams to build greater depth and are now looking for an experienced, but hands-on Information Systems Manager to join our Technology Team. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to move into a pivotal role in a fast-paced financial technology firm.

In this role, you will have the opportunity early on to manage and own projects. You will report directly to senior management and your role will involve high-level engagement with both the senior teams at Huguenot Services and infrastructure teams at major fund management companies. The role will require you to be hands-on, supporting both our office-based infrastructure and AWS cloud hosted environments.

This is an onsite role, based at our prestigious offices in the heart of the City of London. Across our business, all teams are office-based with a highly collaborative culture and universally strong technical skillset. You will therefore find yourself surrounded by subject matter experts, enabling you to quickly develop a strong understanding of our products and the asset management industry, if new to the sector.

Key Responsibilities

Our offering is a sophisticated business-to-business solution that often requires integration with multiple third-party systems, so we would expect you to come from an environment and have experience in the following:

  • Management of both high-availability office-based infrastructure and AWS cloud hosting environments
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting live issues
  • Administration of Windows, Linux, and Mac OS environments
  • Infrastructure monitoring tools such as PRTG, Grafana, OpenSearch or Prometheus
  • Continually reviewing and improving AWS configuration in line with best practice, using tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Collaboration with Software Engineering and Cyber Security Teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  • Writing and reviewing technical documentation, ensuring documents are clear for non-technical readers and can be easily understood for auditing purposes
  • Inventory and equipment provisioning, management, and allocation
