Job Description

Turner & Townsend is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to join our Industrial Services and Technology Real Estate team.

This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, working with a market-leading client base and a professional and ambitious team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale and complex information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector, at the enabling stage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and budgets
    • Establish and maintain effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Project Management
    • Monitor and report on project progress and other performance indicators
    • Manage and mitigate risks and issues
  • Client Management
    • Manage and coordinate the client, contractors, and designers
    • Attend and chair meetings and draft minutes
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Prepare and deliver written project communication materials
    • Prepare and present formal project progress and other reports

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification (project management or construction management)
  • Ideally NEC accredited Project Manager
  • Member of a chartered institute (e.g., RICS or happy to work towards)
  • Good knowledge of construction industry themes (e.g., MMC, Net Zero Carbon, and Digital agenda)
  • Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process
  • Ideally experience of working on information systems and technology projects
