Job Description

We're currently recruiting for an Associate Director to join our Industrial Services and Technology Real Estate team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on strategic commissions and high-profile projects, working with a market-leading client base.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale and complex information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector, at the enabling stage.
  • Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Establish and maintain effective processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and other performance indicators.
  • Manage and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Prepare and deliver written project communication materials.
  • Prepare and present formal project progress and other reports.
  • Manage and coordinate the client, contractors, and designers.
  • Attend and chair meetings and draft minutes.
  • Other responsibilities include developing and delivering presentation materials for client pitches, managing and updating key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database, and providing thought leadership and insights on the latest trends and innovations in the information systems and technology real estate sector.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in project management or construction management.
  • NEC accredited Project Manager.
  • Member of a chartered institute, RICS, or willing to work towards.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry themes such as MMC, Net Zero Carbon, and Digital agenda.
  • Good knowledge of project lifecycle and business case approvals process.
  • Experience of working on information systems and technology projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in large-scale information systems and technology projects in the real estate sector.
  • Experience of master planning/strategic estate development and capital project planning for business case compilation.
  • Detailed experience of NEC contract administration.
  • Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles at all levels.
