About the Role

Signet Recruitment and Retention is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Systems and SharePoint Specialist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and updating SharePoint content, administering and optimizing their Learning Management System (LMS), coordinating ICT projects, and developing web applications and cloud-based solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of their IT services and supporting their internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities
  • SharePoint Administration: Develop, update, and maintain SharePoint content, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • LMS Management: Administer Moodle instances, customize and configure courses, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
  • Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate ICT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business processes, perform requirements analysis, prepare software requirements specification documents, and support users in acceptance testing.
  • Web and Cloud Application Development: Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, and other relevant technologies. Develop and maintain Microsoft Azure applications, including Function Apps, App Services, and Logic Apps.
  • DevOps and CI/CD: Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, automate build, test, and deployment processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for scalability and reliability.
  • Integrated Management System: Assist with managing and auditing the Integrated Management System (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 27701).
  • Training and Communication: Develop and deliver training as required and manage ICTS communications through the ICTS newsletter.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: A university degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, mathematics, statistics, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer information systems or related areas.
  • SharePoint Expertise: Hands-on experience with SharePoint Framework, SharePoint REST API, and other SharePoint development tools, along with a strong understanding of SharePoint administration and configuration.
  • Moodle Proficiency: Demonstrated experience in Moodle administration and configuration, is beneficial.
  • Microsoft Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of Office 365, SharePoint Online, and Azure is essential.
  • Certifications: ISO 27001 lead auditor certificate or equivalent is beneficial.
  • Software Development: Experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, XML, MS SQL, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is advantageous.
  • Agile Project Management: At least two years of professional experience in Agile project management is desirable.
  • Business Analysis: At least two years of experience in business analysis is desirable.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment automation is desirable.
  • Data Analytics: Experience with data models, ETL processes, and tools like PowerBI is desirable.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential.
