Position Overview

The role involves delivering comprehensive administrative and clerical support to a designated pathway within the Care Group. Responsibilities include organizing clerical tasks, managing medical records and associated documents, overseeing bed management information, and performing receptionist and call handling duties.

This position requires addressing inquiries from patients, service users, relatives, and caregivers, as well as inputting and updating service-related data while collaborating with clinicians and partners to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The ability to function efficiently in a dynamic office environment is crucial, as the role entails managing a high volume of tasks. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as interaction with a diverse range of professionals and patients is a regular part of the job.

Candidates must demonstrate effective workload prioritization and possess the capability to work independently using their initiative, while also being able to collaborate as part of a team.

Proficiency in IT and standard software applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Familiarity with NHS systems, such as System One, is beneficial but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants should have achieved GCSE (Grade C or above in English and Mathematics) or possess equivalent qualifications or experience in an administrative role.

Experience in a reception setting is advantageous but not a prerequisite, as there may be occasions when covering a busy clinic reception is necessary.

There may be instances requiring travel between various locations, so the ability to travel independently is preferred.
