Deputy Home Manager - Children's Residential

Are you a motivated and experienced professional looking to take on a challenging role in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join our team at TRC Yorkshire, a leading provider of innovative care and education services for children and young people with complex needs, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of care professionals in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including therapists, teachers, and healthcare professionals, to provide a holistic approach to care and support.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to provide the best possible care.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care are maintained and that the home is a safe and welcoming environment for children and young people.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a residential children's home.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
