Job Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead your team and work with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.
- Role Model: Act as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
- Supervision and Mentoring: Supervise and mentor staff, organize work patterns, facilitate care-focused training, and access appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
- Daily Management: Oversee all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
- Knowledge: Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
- Skills: Experience with budgets and rotas.
- Driving Licence: A full driving licence is essential.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.
