Deputy Home Manager Job Opportunity

TRC Yorkshire is seeking a skilled Deputy Home Manager to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child's needs.
  • Act as a positive role model, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, organizing work patterns, facilitating care-focused training, and accessing appropriate services to support childcare practices.
  • Oversee all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
  • NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • A full driving licence is essential.
