Job Summary

As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding care and support, helping young people lead happy and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead your team and work with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.
  2. Act as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, fostering an environment of recovery, growth, and lasting change.
  3. Supervise and mentor staff, organize work patterns, facilitate care-focused training, and access appropriate services to support childcare practices within the home.
  4. Oversee all day-to-day management matters, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 3 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home.
  2. NVQ Level 4 in Management or Childcare, or willing to work towards it.
  3. Related knowledge of Ofsted legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  4. Experience with budgets and rotas.
  5. A full driving licence is essential.
