Deputy Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Home Manager to join our team at The Herons, Nottingham. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality service and developing our staff team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Home Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the home.
  • You will work closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our residents.
  • As a Deputy Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a care environment, preferably in a senior role.
  • Formal qualifications at S/NVQ/QCF Diploma level 3 or equivalent.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
