About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Paternoster House. As a Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, working closely with our care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the care team to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are met
- Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their key carers, family members, and the wider team
- Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the care team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each resident
Requirements
- Qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration
- Post-registration experience, with a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and a willingness to train in areas such as medication administration, catheterization, and end-of-life care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- Able to work autonomously, with a high degree of independence and initiative
