Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and friendly HR & Development team at Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide employee relations support to managers across the organisation, offering consistent advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Assist with case management relating to disciplinaries, grievances, performance, and attendance.
  • Review and update internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with managers and employees, providing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in advising managers on HR policies and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to work closely with the HR & Development team to plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload.
