Job Summary:

Latham & Bond HR is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our client, a leading automotive manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing operational functions and implementing improvements across several departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operational resources are applied efficiently and effectively to meet business requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of production staff to ensure manufacturing procedures are followed and quality requirements are met.
  • Support lean manufacturing practices and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the safety department to ensure risk assessments are conducted and implemented for all processes.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and recognized QC tools.
  • Experience with project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
