Client Support Specialist

Position Overview:
We are looking for motivated individuals to become part of our Credit Management division at Skipton Building Society. In this role, you will assist clients experiencing financial challenges and transitions in their personal situations, offering them the necessary support. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this position.
Once you have demonstrated proficiency in your role, hybrid working arrangements will be available, requiring a minimum of two days in our main office.
No previous experience is required; what matters most is your genuine desire to assist others. If you thrive on problem-solving and wish to make a meaningful difference, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage customer inquiries related to payment challenges
- Evaluate individual customer circumstances and offer suitable solutions
- Oversee mortgage arrears management
- Coordinate legal actions and repossession processes
- Collaborate with legal representatives as necessary
- Identify and assist vulnerable clients
- Communicate with empathy and professionalism
- Process payments and manage direct debit arrangements
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Excellent communication and listening abilities
- Familiarity with mortgage products is advantageous
