We are in search of a Client Acquisition Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team located in North Yorkshire.

In the role of Client Acquisition Specialist, you will spearhead our business expansion efforts, concentrating on attracting clients within the global nicotine or pharmaceutical industries. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and onboarding new clients, nurturing client relationships, and striving towards revenue and profit objectives. This position will require close collaboration with various teams, including Operations, Marketing, and Laboratory Services, ensuring a smooth transition from proposal to implementation.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Client Acquisition Specialist Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Business Development—essential
  • Proactive sales approach: results-oriented, persuasive, confident, and tenacious
  • Background in scientific disciplines or familiarity with the nicotine or pharmaceutical sectors—desirable
  • Experience in a technical, scientific, or related field is highly beneficial.
  • Proven success in securing B2B contracts, preparing Statements of Work, cost estimates, and financial assessments – essential.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and stakeholder management skills at all levels, including the preparation and delivery of presentations.
  • Valid driver's license—essential
  • Must reside within a two-hour drive of the office - Hybrid role with a requirement to be on-site weekly.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.

Client Acquisition Specialist Benefits:

  • Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum OTE £60k (uncapped)
  • 25 days of annual leave, in addition to public holidays
  • Option for a fixed day off every 2 or 3 weeks through salary sacrifice
  • Annual and quarterly bonuses based on company and individual performance
  • Car allowance of £5,000 per annum
