Service Children's Champion Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Service Children's Champion in the Brecon Cluster. This exciting opportunity is part of a grant-funded initiative, and you will be based out of Ysgol Golwg Pen y Fan, supporting Service children and families across several schools with Service children on roll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise awareness of Service children's needs and build relationships with families and schools.
  • Undertake collaborative activities and learning to support Service children's personalised needs.
  • Provide additional learning needs support and targeted support for Service children as they transition in/out of our schools.
  • Liaise with Armed Forces agencies to ensure a collaborative partnership to support the needs of Service children.
  • Work closely with staff and parents, under the supervision of a member of the senior leadership team.
Requirements:
  • An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this position.
