About the Role

We are seeking a Health Visitor Team Leader to join our team, who will provide clinical and professional leadership and manage a 0-5 public health nursing (health visiting) team, ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive and high-quality needs-led service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan, organise and evaluate an innovative public health service, and where appropriate, delegate to other members of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service
  • Provide a skilled, effective and evidence-based public health service to clients in a variety of community settings
  • Work in collaboration with other healthcare and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients and communities
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification - school nursing or health visiting BSc or diploma
  • Current NMC registration
  • Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training
  • Mentor training
  • IT literate
