Salary:
£55k - £65k, depending on skills and experience

Ace Aquatec is a leading aquaculture technology firm focused on welfare-first in-water electric stunners, marine mammal protection devices, biomass estimation, and sea lice removal systems.

The Operations Team Leader is accountable for supervising and coordinating the efforts of the Project Engineering and Field Service teams to guarantee effective project delivery, optimal field operations, and customer satisfaction.

This position demands a strategic leader capable of managing intricate projects, offering technical direction, and fostering continuous improvement within the teams.

The Operations Team Leader will play a crucial role in connecting project planning with execution, ensuring that all operations are in line with company objectives and client expectations.


Leadership & Management:
Guide and mentor the Project Engineering and Field Service teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Formulate and execute operational strategies to boost efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
Allocate resources effectively to fulfill project timelines and field service obligations.

Project Oversight:
Direct the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and budgetary limits.
Assess project progress and performance, implementing corrective measures as necessary to resolve any issues or delays.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and alignment on project goals and schedules.

Field Service Management:
Oversee the Field Service team to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and maintenance requests.
Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field operations to uphold high service delivery standards.
Monitor and analyze field service performance metrics, driving enhancements based on data insights.

Identify and execute process improvements to optimize project engineering and field service operations.
Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to foster innovation within the teams.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and development through training and professional growth opportunities.

Proven experience in project engineering and field service management, ideally within a technical or industrial sector.
Strong grasp of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and field service operations.

Project & Operations Management:
Skilled in project management tools and software.
Experience with budget oversight, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate project and service performance metrics.
Excellent PC and MS Office skills, along with experience in bespoke programming or design software.
Experience in aquaculture, agriculture, marine, or offshore industries would be advantageous.
