Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our team in the Dundee area. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Patrol Officers, Mobile Patrol Officers, and Mobile Team Leaders, ensuring that our car parks are operated efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of parking enforcement officers to achieve company and regional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Deal with basic human resources issues, such as poor performance, absence management, recruitment, appraisals, and other related tasks, with support from management and the HR Team.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Create and manage patrol schedules for the teams, ensuring that all car parks are operated efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage trackers, holidays, and marshalling tracker entries, ensuring that all data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Build professional relationships with client management teams, ensuring that our services meet their expectations.
  • Patrol car parks in line with a schedule, issuing parking charges where necessary, and providing exceptional customer service to both our customers and clients.
  • Check machinery for faults, replenish consumables, maintain stock and inventory control, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Ensure that both you and the larger team are adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety and British Car Park Association regulations.
  • Identify control risks, report any near miss incidents, accidents, or health and safety issues to site management and regional managers, and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Conduct administrative tasks on dedicated admin days, ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as directed by your line manager.
Requirements
  • Understanding of budgetary Profit and Loss functions and their application within the Regional team.
  • Understanding of Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures, as well as company safe working practices.
  • Ability to conduct site and signage surveys, and offer recommendations for improvement.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills.
  • IT literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, with a full valid UK driving license.
