Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our team in the Dundee area. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of Parking Officers, ensuring the smooth operation of our car parks, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of Parking Officers to achieve company and regional KPI targets
  • Deal with basic HR issues, such as poor performance, absence management, recruitment, and appraisals
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to team members
  • Create and manage patrol schedules for the team
  • Manage trackers, holidays, and marshalling tracker entries
  • Build professional relationships with client management teams
  • Patrol car parks in line with a schedule, issuing PCNs where necessary
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both our customers and clients
  • Check machinery for faults, replenish consumables, maintain stock and inventory control
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, Health and Safety, and British Car Park Association regulations
  • Identify control risks and report near miss incidents, accidents, or health and safety issues to site management and regional managers
  • Conduct administrative tasks on dedicated admin days
Requirements
  • Understanding of budgetary P&L functions and their application within the Regional team
  • Understanding of HR policies and procedures
  • Understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures and company safe working practices
  • Ability to conduct site/signage surveys and offer recommendations
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
  • IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Pro-active and self-motivated
  • Full valid UK driving license
  • Management of own timekeeping and attendance
  • Good understanding of role and requirements of our customers
  • Sensitive and practical approach to enforcement at site and understanding of diversity of customers and colleagues
  • Good understanding of company values, policies, and procedures
