Job Description:

Business Development Manager

At Venatu Recruitment Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maximising sales revenue within a designated area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge successful relationships with customers to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and market trends
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of local customer base and market conditions
  • Set plans in place for future growth and initiate those plans
  • Ensure customers receive a high level of service
  • Administer and record keeping to maximise efficiency and service
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential business
  • Establish strong sustainable business relationships with customers
  • Conduct product training and joint end-user calls as needed
  • Advise on POS solutions and merchandise
  • Communicate effectively with the manager, customers, and internal support team
  • Seek and open new quality accounts

Requirements:

  • Proven record of field and account management and business development experience
  • Extensive experience and understanding of corporate, industrial clothing, and workwear markets
  • Knowledge of corporate/PPE/workwear wholesale and distribution markets
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills
  • Organised and able to manage own workload
  • Self-motivated
