Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Protection Officer to enhance our team in the realm of environmental compliance and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct enforcement activities in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1990.
  • Manage investigations related to noise complaints and domestic disturbances.
  • Perform acoustic evaluations and noise assessments.
  • Prepare legal documentation and case files for both criminal and civil matters.
  • Address Statutory Nuisance complaints by following established protocols, utilizing record forms, and deploying noise monitoring equipment as necessary.
  • Engage with Planning and Licensing consultations.
  • Execute inspections of Environmental Permits.
  • Gather evidence in compliance with PACE regulations.
  • Participate in Planning and Licensing discussions, including hearings.

Compensation:
This position offers a competitive rate of £45 per hour, with a flexible work arrangement of 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.

Contract Details:
This is an initial contract with the possibility of extension.
