Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Guide and inspire the European marketing team, cultivating a culture of excellence and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Formulate and execute impactful marketing strategies for mass market offerings and the burgeoning hobby market.
  • Design cohesive marketing strategies for regional managers, promoting a unified approach across various markets.

Strategic Marketing Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for key competitions and product lines.
  • Implement a forward-thinking marketing strategy for the hobby market to foster growth in Europe.
  • Oversee all facets of consumer marketing, including research, advertising, and budget management.

Content and Digital Media Oversight:

  • Manage the creation of engaging content for social media platforms, collaborating with creative teams.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards and marketing goals, leveraging influencer partnerships for enhanced engagement.
  • Innovate digital marketing strategies to boost brand visibility across social media channels.

Partnership and Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key partners, including sports organizations and clubs.
  • Oversee licensing agreements and renewals with professional sports teams.
  • Identify new collaboration opportunities to broaden the reach of our product offerings.

Event Coordination and Project Management:

  • Plan and execute large-scale marketing events across various European cities.
  • Form project teams, outlining timelines and deliverables to ensure successful marketing initiatives.
  • Work with event management teams to create impactful marketing experiences.

Financial Oversight:

  • Manage promotional budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop retail strategies that maximize market presence.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

  • Engage with internal and external teams to implement marketing activities efficiently.
  • Manage public relations and media agencies to generate cost-effective promotional ideas.
  • Work closely with content creation and event management teams to achieve cohesive marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience in sports or consumer products, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in executing marketing campaigns and leading diverse teams across Europe.
  • Strong passion for sports, particularly football, with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and organized approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
