About the Role

Aatom Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Head of Programmes, Strategy and Improvement. This is a unique opportunity to work with a Local Authority and contribute to the improvement of Adult Social Care services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with corporate and political leadership to identify and deliver their vision, priorities, and value to residents.
  • Develop and maintain partnership networks and relationships to enhance wellbeing outcomes for residents and strengthen collaborative working and integration.
  • Facilitate joint working across the sub-region and region on projects and services affecting residents and service users.
  • Create and deliver strategies for communities, enhancing resident voice and influence, and producing an annual directorate service plan.
  • Lead an effective Programme Management function within Adult Social Care, providing strong leadership to the ASC Improvement Team.
  • Support the development and delivery of Adult Social Care improvement priority projects, including inspection preparation and response.
  • Oversee the department's communication and coproduction approach, ensuring alignment with the corporate strategy and priorities.
