About the Role

You will be responsible for assessing patients with multiple clinical issues, gathering clinical observations and information, and creating comprehensive written reports to support benefit claims. Your reports will be used by the Department of Work and Pensions to make informed decisions about patient support.

Training and Development

Our client provides industry-leading training and support to ensure your success in this role. You will receive comprehensive training, lasting approximately 6 months, which will equip you with the necessary skills to excel as a Medical Assessor. During this period, you will be paid and will have the opportunity to maintain your professional registration with the relevant governing bodies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a patient-facing role, dealing with a wide range of clinical conditions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong typing and keyboard skills, with the ability to type at 30 words per minute
  • Highly literate and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
